Effective April 1, 2010, the price for the purchase of burial plots within Mt. Pleasant Cemetery will be increasing in order to keep up with the ever increasing costs of maintaining the Cemetery grounds. 

 

The current pricing of $1,500 for a full lot (6 graves), $750 for a half lot (3 graves), and $300 for a single grave site have been in place for the last few years.  However, with the increasing costs as well as potential plans for a future expansion, the Board will be raising these prices effective April 1, 2010.  The new pricing will be $1,800 for a full lot, $900 for a half lot, and $450 for an individual grave site for current and past residents of Green Township.  As it has been in the past, for those wishing to purchase lots that have never been a resident of Green Township, all prices are two times the normal rate.
